Four published client stories. Four different timelines. This resource brings the reported DEXA changes into one place, with a source for every figure.

The published results
David · 16 weeks
Lean tissue: +10.8 lb · Fat mass: −7.4 lb. Read David’s case study.
Dylan · 15 weeks
Lean tissue: +20.2 lb · Fat mass: −2.4 lb. Read Dylan’s case study.
Taylor · 29 weeks
Lean tissue: +7.1 lb · Fat mass: −14.7 lb. Read Taylor’s case study.
John · 33 weeks
Lean tissue: +14.3 lb · Fat mass: −12.7 lb. Read the 69-year-old client’s case study.
All changes are reported in pounds. Positive values indicate an increase; negative values indicate a decrease. Lean tissue means DEXA-estimated lean tissue, not a direct measurement of new skeletal muscle.
What these cases show
The published stories describe gains in estimated lean tissue alongside reductions in fat mass. David’s story covers a real estate investor starting without a training history. Dylan’s covers a media professional with a changing schedule. Taylor’s covers a technology entrepreneur and father. John’s includes three months of travel within a 33-week coaching period.
The timelines matter. A 15-week result and a 33-week result are different observations. The figures should be read beside each client’s circumstances, rather than combined into an average or treated as a promise.
How this summary was compiled
This is a compilation of four selected case studies already published by Body By Akram, checked on October 31, 2026. The figures above transcribe the changes and durations reported in those articles.
The source articles describe DEXA-based progress tracking; several identify DexaFit as the scanning provider. This summary has not independently audited the original scan reports, scan dates, equipment, preparation, or training logs. Raw scans and private client records are not included.
How to interpret the measurements
DEXA estimates body composition. A change in lean tissue does not establish how much new skeletal muscle was gained. Preparation, hydration and other measurement conditions can affect interpretation; discuss comparison conditions with the scanning provider. For background, see Messina and colleagues’ review of DEXA body composition measurement.
These are selected individual outcomes from a coaching business, not a controlled study or a representative sample of all clients. There is no comparison group. The cases cannot establish that coaching alone caused the changes or predict another person’s outcome. Training history, starting point, nutrition, adherence, health and measurement conditions can differ.
For writers and referral partners
You are welcome to reference this public summary and link readers to the individual case studies for context. Please describe the figures as reported changes in DEXA-estimated lean tissue and fat mass, retain the relevant timeline, and avoid presenting them as typical or guaranteed results.
